From 25 to 31 August 2024, GSK, KIGAM, and Busan Metropolitan City, under the auspices of IUGS, are organising the 37th IGC in Busan, South Korea. The every-4-year event brings together geoscientists from around the globe, which makes it an ideal opportunity to present your research, share knowledge and experience and to meet fellow scientists.
INTRAW is pleased to actively participate in the conference with a dedicated session in Resource Geology and Economic Geology (T12 – Session 23) titled “Navigating the Path to the Green Transition: Balancing Resource Extraction and Environmental Stewardship” that aims to address challenges of the energy transition – (1) the need for specific minerals and metals; (2) availability of these raw materials (their limited availability); (3) the energy transition dependence of the free flow and trade of vital mineral raw materials; (4) growing international competition for mineral raw materials; and (5) rising opposition to mining.
Based on your expertise and knowledge, INTRAW cordially invites you to submit an abstract to Session 23 (under Theme T12 – Resource Geology and Economic Geology). Please note that the deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2024.
For quick access, you can use this link: Abstract Submission – IGC 2024 (igc2024korea.org)
You’re warmly welcome to submit your abstract and contribute to this interesting session.
Looking forward to meeting you in Busan in August.
